I'm Back!!

Hi everyone!

I don't expect anyone to read this, you all probably gave up on me months ago and I don't blame you.

I'm ashamed to tell you I put on some serious pounds over Xmas. Like 7! I'm very upset w/ myself and frustrated. My pants aren't fitting very well and I'm not sure how much longer I can get away w/ wearing a sweatshirt everywhere.

My 30th birthday is in 2 months. This is just the motivation I need to crack down on myself and get active. Not to mention the cute clothes I have from before I got pregnant and would like to wear this spring/summer.

First step was ordering a Fitbit One. I've been wearing it for about a month and really like it. The only problem is, it hasn't done much to push me to lose weight. I recently joined some groups online though and the whole friendly "competition" idea is starting to work.

Step #2 is I ordered Jillian Michael's 30 day shred and plan to start it on Monday. I'm going to be out of town over the weekend so can't get started right away.

Step #3 I plan to start eating clean again starting Monday. I already have next week's menu planned and grocery list made. My husband and I agreed we need to do something differrent. I abandoned the clean eating in Nov. b/c I wasn't as organized as I needed to be in planning and prepping. Not to mention the holidays were so close I just got lazy, but not anymore!

The past 2 weeks I've been following the workout calendar from back on pointe. It's a blog on tumblr. If you don't know about it, you need to check it out. She has great workouts, recipes and overall great tips for fitness. I did a butt workout yesterday and my thighs have been burning all day. Today was ab work and I know I'll be feeling it tomorrow.

I've been reading a lot of motivational blogs from women, and mothers, who are committed to losing weight and changing their lifestyles. I'm determined to stick w/ it this time around.

If all goes well w/ the 30 day shred, I plan to start experimenting w/ crossfit in April. If anyone has any advice about crossfit I welcome it!

Please don't give up on me again. I need all the support I can get! As always, thanks for reading!
